Valvalok !
Have you ever wondered how you can preserve a set of deer antlers in velvet ?
I Just came across this stuff called valvalok.
Just a spray bottle that is applied asap directly on the valvet and cures over 72 hours.
Looking forward to trying this out when the stags are in velvet early next year!
Interestingly enough , i was reading the thing that ruins velvet the most early on is the oils in your skin when you handle it straight after the harvest. Recommendation is to avoid touching the antlers altogether until you have sprayed and let cured.
Have you used this before ?
Do you know any other methods of preserving Velvet ?
