Changes in Highlands County
Hi all! Just a FYI for Tax Deed Auctions in Highlands County, they are now adding a $15 "wire processing fee". This means if you want to wire $5000 to deposit to your account, you must send $5015 to receive $5000. The Clerk's financial institution accepts wire transfers only for electronic payments.
  • Alternatively, deposits and payments (no additional $15 fee) may be made in person using:
  • Cash
  • Cashier's Check
  • Money Order
Keep this in mind so you aren't short on your deposits! Good luck bidding!
