Smart with Taxes, But Practically Invisible Online?
Hey everyone 👋
Been thinking about something I see a lot in the tax world especially with really sharp professionals in this space:
You're great at tax planning, staying compliant, understanding the code…But your digital footprint is almost nonexistent.
Not judging just noticing.
In 2025, a strong online presence isn't about being flashy or famous. It's about:
  • Being searchable when a referral Googles your name
  • Showing credibility before you even speak to a client
  • Educating your audience in a way that positions you as the expert (before they ever ask your price)
It could be as simple as:
  • Posting 1-2x per week on LinkedIn
  • Sharing one helpful tax insight on your site or newsletter
  • Having a clean Google Business or basic website up
Curious how many here are actively working on your online visibility? Or are you still getting 100% of business from referrals and networking?
Would love to hear how others in this group are approaching it. We’re all learning
