FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS THIS TAX-RETURN PREPARATION?
No. The workshop provides general education and organizational tools. It does not teach, direct, supervise, prepare, complete, review, approve, or verify an individual member's return. It does not tell a member what to enter, claim, omit, sign, submit, or file.
DOES THE WORKSHOP TEACH ME HOW TO PREPARE MY OWN RETURN?
No. It helps you understand general concepts and become better organized for the filing process. You may decide to file independently or work with a qualified tax professional, but the workshop does not make that decision or instruct you how to prepare your return.
Before making tax or legal decisions, consult a qualified tax professional, attorney, or other appropriate licensed professional who can review your complete facts.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A RETURN I FILE?
You are responsible for the information submitted on any return you file, whether you file independently or use a preparer. Workshop content, examples, community posts, and downloads do not approve or verify a return.
DOES MEMBERSHIP CREATE A PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH BLUE CIRCLE TAX CONSULTANTS LLC?
No. Membership and community participation do not create a professional-client, accountant-client, or attorney-client relationship. Any professional tax service from Blue Circle Tax Consultants LLC requires a separate written engagement agreement.
IS THE MVP FEDERAL OR STATE-SPECIFIC?
Federal first. State modules are separate post-launch additions, with Oregon likely among the first.
DOES THE BASE MEMBERSHIP TEACH BUSINESS ENTITY RETURNS?
No. The base membership covers individual Form 1040 and Schedule C education. Recipient-side K-1 awareness may be included. Preparation of Forms 1065, 1120-S, 1120, and 1041 belongs in separate future premium products.
DOES BLUE CIRCLE TAX CONSULTANTS PROVIDE BOOKKEEPING OR PAYROLL THROUGH THIS MEMBERSHIP?
No. Educational content may discuss recordkeeping and payroll-related tax concepts, but the workshop does not offer bookkeeping or payroll services.
MUST I USE A SPECIFIC TAX PROGRAM?
No. The course is software-neutral. It teaches the tax concepts behind software questions and how to review the forms a program creates.
WHAT IF MY SITUATION IS COMPLEX?
Stop before making a filing decision and consult a qualified professional who can review your complete facts. Complex K-1s, foreign reporting, notices, poor records, prior depreciation, multiple states, entity returns, and individualized return questions require special care.
