Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Place one hand on your belly.
Now breathe into your belly, not your chest.
Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds. Feel your belly expand.
Hold for 2 seconds.
Exhale slowly through your mouth for 6 seconds. Let your body soften.
Do this for 7 minutes.
You’ll notice your shoulders dropping, your mind slowing down, your body feeling calmer. If emotions come up, don’t stop them.
At the end, ask yourself: How often do I actually breathe like this?
