Self reflection
One of the most powerful forms of self-reflection is recognizing that the things that trigger us in others often reveal something within ourselves that needs attention.
Many of us avoid this step because it requires looking into the mirror and facing parts of ourselves that feel uncomfortable, painful, or even ugly. It’s much easier to point outward than to look inward.
But the moment you become willing to examine those reactions, you take a powerful step toward freedom.
Freedom from the guilt.
Freedom from the anger we hold toward others.
Freedom from the patterns that keep repeating in our lives.
The mirror may be uncomfortable at first, but it’s also where healing begins.
Reflection question for today:
What is something that has recently triggered you in someone else… and what might it be showing you about yourself?
