I just asked Claude Code to read every company in Y Combinator and show me the AI agent startups under 10 people. Y Combinator doesn't have an API. I'm not scraping their site. It came back in 50 milliseconds โ none of it hit my context window.
The way I'm doing this is a CLI. Not an API. Not an MCP server. A CLI. And the tool I'm using in this video lets you build one for any website on the internet โ in about 90 minutes, hands-off โ even sites with no API and no MCP server.
In this video I break down:
- The real reason every serious AI company is shipping a CLI in 2026 (Claude Code, Codex, gh, Stripe, Playwright, gws โ they're all CLIs)
- API vs MCP vs CLI โ and why MCP is silently eating your context window (Anthropic shipped Tool Search Tool to fix this โ that tells you everything)
- The open-source tool that turns ANY website into a CLI your agent can drive
- The full Y Combinator directory build, start to finish โ 5,887 companies, 7 features no existing tool has
๐ Pinned below โ full step-by-step guide PDF with every install command, the kickoff prompt, the factory phases, and the exact demo queries from the video.
๐ While you're here: Outskill is running a free 2-day Claude-A-Thon this weekend โ deep dive on Claude + 10 other AI tools, mentored by leaders from Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Nvidia. First 1,000 seats are free: ๐ https://links.outskill.com/NICPU This pairs perfectly with the video โ if you're going to build CLIs for your own stack, you want to know what Claude can actually do first.
Drop a comment with the website you wish your agent could use that doesn't have an API. If a few of you land on the same one, I'll build the CLI on stream.
