Hey everyone! 👋
I saw in the classroomthe following: that if you upload at the exact same day and time for 6 consecutive weeks, you "complete" a hidden test that tells the YouTube algorithm exactly who your audience is.
The idea is that this consistency "feeds" the system enough data to finally stop testing you and start pushing your content to the right people. 📈
I want to know if there is actual truth to this or if it’s just creator folklore:
- The Believers: Have you tried a strict 6-week/6-video "perfect schedule"? Did you see a noticeable "unlock" or spike in impressions after that 6th upload?
- The Skeptics: Is this just a mental trick to keep us consistent, or have you grown a channel with a totally random schedule?
- The Data: Does anyone have analytics screenshots showing a "turning point" after a specific number of consistent uploads?
Let's settle this—does the algorithm care about our calendars, or is it only about the CTR and retention of the individual video?
