Finding the back bump…
The pattern instructions say, “working in back bump of each chain…” WHAT????
Photo one shows a chain from the front side. This is what you are used to seeing. Now turn your chain over. Photo two shows the “back” of your chain. Can you see the bump? This is where you will insert your hook. See photo three. So, instead of working from the front as you may be more familiar with, you will be working into the back or “wrong” side of the chain. What this does is give you a very neat finish on that edge of your work.
