This is how I used my van to make $10,200 with one 41 night reservation using 4 different tactics.
1: Use length of stay discounts all the way up to 40 nights, don’t stop at 2 weeks or even a month. 10% discount for 6 nights, 14% discount for 15 nights, 20% discount for 25 nights and 35% discount for 40 nights. This will allow you to stand out to renters who are searching for longer trips.
2: List your RV or van near your closest major airport and offer FREE delivery to that airport for reservations over two weeks long. This will allow your listing to be more discoverable to renters that are flying in to vacation in a certain area, increasing your odds of securing a long booking.
3: Get 5 star reviews so renters know you have a good reputation.
4: Price your nightly rate competitively with the same offerings in your area.
