How To Start a RV Rental Business
Maybe you have 1 RV and have rented it out some, or maybe you are starting from scratch. In this video I will go over how to start your RV rental business after starting my own 7 figure rental business. Step 1: Start an LLC
You can do this online pretty easily. I did mine through zen business. You will want to come up with a name and owners of the LLC. I would recommend something people can remember and is good for Google SEO.
Step 2: Build a website.
You can do this on your own if you have those skills or willing to learn. There are a few easy to use website builder tools like Squarespace, Wix and Weebly.
Step 3: List your RV or RVs on a booking platform and also integrate a booking software into your website for direct bookings. https://www.dufourfunr...
There are several booking platforms like outdoorsy and RVShare you can list your RV on and there are several booking softwares with insurance built in that you can use to integrate and list on your own website to gain direct bookings through your own marketing funnel.
(Most softwares have a minimum of 5 RVs needed from fleet owners to be allowed to use their software, so if you need a direct booking software, we offer that as a free service. Head to our website in the description or email me to get a direct booking software with insurance, roadside assistance and more integrated into your website)

Step 4: Setting up a location for your business.
The unique thing about the RV rental business is that you can start at your home most times and move to a commercial space once you have tested the market and grow.
I started at my house and after I got 2 RVs I started looking on facebook marketplace for a commercial space and was able to find one for around $600 a month to store 10+ RVs.
Step 5: Create a sales funnel by starting with google business. This will attract renters to your website or landing page to book one of your RV if they see you are a good fit.
You will want to create a google business profile which is how customers who search “RV rental” near you will find you. Google business is free to list and use and when you are getting started you may want to use some paid ads to boost your listing.
Good consistent reviews, updating with posts and photos will allow you profile to rank higher over time which in return will allow you to get more leads.
Now you have an LLC, a website, a way for people to book through your website, and a organic sales funnel to direct people to your website. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below!
