SHARE: a recent painting commission. Definitely celebrating Surrealism.
I collaborated on the concept and sketch for this piece with Ashley, who is a member of this group.
This is representative that together we are capable of more than we conceive of on our own.
This piece was made to use as poster art/and event flyer for an annual Mardi Gras party and fundraiser event here in New Orleans
I hope this encourages members to share their personal work. I am also sharing the initial sketch, then two more in process images. To show the rough edges behind the final drop.
No one arrives at the final drop of a Masterpiece with all systems rolling fluidly without doing the work and the steps and investing the time love and self care along the path.
All great works come from copious research and thorough development over time while taking appropriate steps. Ask me about it. Let’s talk about it.
Conception—Dreaming—Writing—Visualization—Drawing— then coloring. Then final details.
