I am a land locked surfer from South Carolina so I’ve been on a long journey learning to surf for like 35 years. I began in California for a couple years and then moved back to “South Kack”. I’ve been able to pursue it more the past 10 years, and with a 7 board Quiver my four Degree 33 Boards are the most important, and my 9’ Ultimate and 7’2” Poacher are the most fun and reliable for me! Recently, my wife and I drove across the country to visit my twin and his family in California, and I brought those 2 boards with me. On the way back East I surfed Lake Michigan in Chicago, Illinois on a 2 to 3 ft wave day, and then a couple days later in Muskegon Michigan in 5 to 7 ft conditions which was almost unreal and epic at the same time! It was chunky and windy and my 9’ Ultimate was the board to use. Be encouraged y’all!. 🤙 🏄♂️
