Any advice from dad‘s?

Had a few friends growing up whose dad‘s pushed them hard to Surf. They surfed well, but by the time they were in their late teens, they were burnt out and never really had the same love for it.

I have a two-year-old, five-year-old, and six year-old and I’m constantly feeling torn I have much encourage them to Surf. I know “pushing” them is bad and I’ve had other friends tell me just make it about enjoying the beach and the water, but any other advice from dad‘s who have kids that have fallen in love with surfing?

PS – got the two year-old in a wetsuit yesterday and got a few waves together. Fortunately, she seems to love it.
