SSS portal vs one 20 minute presentation

When I completed the Event page in the SSS portal, I was delighted to see that there was an option for a workshop and for the event to be held over two days.

There was a begin date and an end date.

I was surprised because the initial instructions before I went to the portal were to make a 20 minute video and so I was thinking that would be the extent of my presence during the portal.

I'm thinking it might be best for me to change the dates I put into the portal (Oct 19 for the begin date and Oct 20 for the end date) to one date (the same date for both start and end).

Can someone please help me think this through and give me a better understanding of how much visibility I'll have during the Summit. And if any of it will be interactive (the video is simply a presentation, not interactive).
