Recorded some BASS today
Less planning. More making.
I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time thinking about creative spaces, recording workflows and getting projects finished.
Now it’s time to actually put it all into practice.
I’m getting back into recording my own songs, starting with some unfinished material, and I’ll be documenting the process here.
The mistakes, the decisions, the equipment, the distractions and hopefully the finished recordings.
Today I started to go through the unfinished demos for the second album. This is a song called “Jump the Fence” which started as a basic idea about 15 years ago. I began creating a demo and developing the sound about 3 years ago. Armed with a brand new bass preamp I put down some basic bass lines and will be returning to the song over the next few days along with many others. Yes - you will get to hear it!
