Drift is Often Passive Faith
Brothers,
I’ve been thinking about something lately.
Drift is often passive faith.
We pray for the miracle…
Then sit on the couch and watch TV.
We ask God to strengthen our marriage…
But never have the conversation.
We pray for better health…
But never hit the gym.
We ask God to bless our finances…
But never develop the discipline.
Sometimes we call it “waiting on God.”
But if we’re honest, it’s just drift.
Real faith isn’t passive.
Faith moves.
Faith takes the next step before all the answers are clear.
As the old saying goes:
Pray like everything depends on God. Work like everything depends on you.
God loves effort.
God loves action.
Not because we earn His blessings, but because action demonstrates trust.
Brother, maybe the breakthrough you’re praying for isn’t waiting on God.
Maybe it’s waiting on you.
✅ Make the call
✅ Open the Bible.
✅ Hit the gym.
✅ Have the conversation.
✅ Lead your family.
No drifting.
Strength. Purpose. Legacy.
👇 What’s one action you’re taking today instead of waiting for “someday”?
