Happy Juneteenth!
It is now a national holiday so the banks and stock market is closed. This week the market has seen a mix of emotions.
The Fed Chair did not lower rates and is more likely to increase rates this year. This has the affect of lowering stock prices because it is a higher cost to do business. Oil prices are falling which helps the overall manufacturing economy by reducing the cost of production; therefore, one would expect the stock prices to rise.
