👑 Am I Overreacting?
👑 — “AM I OVERREACTING?”
Girl… how many times have you been frustrated with your co-parent and thought:
“Am I overreacting?”
Maybe they changed plans.
Maybe they said something to your child.
Maybe they ignored the parenting plan.
Maybe they sent that text. 🙄
And suddenly you’re questioning yourself:
“Should I say something?”
“Should I just let it go?”
“Am I making too much of this?”
Take a breath.
Your feelings are valid—but they don’t have to make the decision.
Before you react, try this:
👑 What actually happened?
Stick to the facts.
👑 What am I feeling?
Angry? Hurt? Worried? Disrespected?
👑 What am I assuming?
Don’t confuse what you think they meant with what you actually know.
👑 Is this a pattern?
One frustrating incident is different from repeated behavior.
👑 What response gets me closer to my goal?
Not “What do I want to say?”
But “What serves me and my child best?”
Sometimes the best response is no response.
Sometimes it’s a calm conversation.
Sometimes it’s documentation and watching for a pattern.
And sometimes…
you really aren’t overreacting.
Learning the difference is the strategy.
👇 Your turn, Mama:
What’s something that recently made you think,
“Am I overreacting, or is this actually a problem?”
Share it without names or identifying details, and let’s break it down together:
FACTS → FEELINGS → ASSUMPTIONS → PATTERN → NEXT STEP 👑
