Menopause taught me about how I had kept myself trapped when it AMPLIFIED all the stories and sensations that kept me "in line"
For years I believed I had to fix myself by controlling my body, saying the right thing, and managing what I imagined other people thought about me. I was exhausted from performing for peace.
Then menopause revealed what I'd been carrying all along.
So I made a decision. I was done hustling against myself.
The voice in my head had spent decades trying to protect me, but it had done the last good it was going to do.
I didn't need a better inner critic. I needed a better inner companion.
I discovered that the words we use put flesh on the skeleton of our lives. So I learned to choose sturdier words, kinder stories, and better practices to learn to be my own safe companion.
That's why I created Steady Ground.
Here you'll learn to interrupt overthinking, calm your body, become your own safe and sturdy companion, and get friendly with your humanity.
Welcome in. 🌿
