Tracking Your Progress
Tracking is essential. You need to know what you've done, what's pending, and what's working.
WHAT TO TRACK:
Credit Scores:
  • Check weekly (use free services like Credit Karma)
  • Record scores in a spreadsheet
  • Note what changed before score movements
Disputes:
  • Date sent
  • Bureau/creditor sent to
  • Tracking number
  • Response deadline (30 days)
  • Outcome
Letters Sent:
  • What type of letter
  • Who it was sent to
  • Date sent
  • Date response received
  • Result
Account Changes:
  • New accounts opened
  • Accounts closed
  • Balance changes
  • Limit changes
CELEBRATE WINS:
When something gets removed:
  • Screenshot the before/after
  • Post in the community
  • Note what worked
  • Stay motivated
Most disputes take 30-45 days. Some take multiple rounds. Stay patient and persistent.
THE 90-DAY CHALLENGE:
Commit to working the STCM method for 90 days:
  • Week 1-2: Foundation and analysis
  • Week 3-4: Personal info disputes out
  • Week 5-8: Collection and late payment disputes
  • Week 9-12: Follow up, escalate, build credit
Results compound. Stick with it.
