The Beatitudes are done. This week the series turns outward — what does the interior work of the last nine weeks actually produce in the world?
Jesus does not say try to become salt and light. He says you already are. The only question is whether you're fulfilling that or failing it. We talk about how salt loses its flavor through dilution, not destruction — and why hiding your light defeats its entire purpose.
