These key tips are really useful, in any initiative you undertake.
These activities or traits seem to come up often as the most important key success factors.
  1. Consistency is key. Keep at it and recognise that early efforts are unlikely to produce immediate results.
  2. Doing the things that move the needle. What specific actions get you to where you want to be?
  3. Spend your time wisely, as there is limited time available.
  4. Analysing what worked and what didn’t.
  5. Changing what didn’t work.
  6. Start to like what you consistently do. The more you become comfortable with it, the more you like it.
  7. Keep it simple (not complicated)
  8. Limit the number of tasks you do and track.
Number 6 is an interesting one. You may not like something initially because it is uncomfortable. As you do it more, and you become more comfortable with it, you may start to like it.
