Stay in It
This Season Requires Endurance
ā€œWe are troubled on every side, yet not distressed… cast down, but not destroyed.ā€
2 Corinthians 4:8–9 (KJV)
Family… šŸ’•
I want to check in a little different today.
Not just about where you are spiritually… but how you’re actually holding up.
We have all the tools.
We know how to pray.
We know how to stay in our Word.
We know how to correct ourselves, grow, and keep moving forward.
We’re doing the work.
But what happens when life keeps lifing?
When it’s not just one thing… it’s everything at the same time.
Your relationships feel off.
Work is stressful.
Money is tight.
Your mind is struggling to stay positive… and you’ve already been here a million times.
You stay in your word and prayer.
You get hit and fall down.
You get back up, hold your head high, and push through.
You feel like you’re losing… but you still trust God for your breakthrough.
Then life hits again.
Wash, rinse, repeat… lol.
So now the question isn’t…
ā€œWhat do I do?ā€
It’s…
ā€œDo I have the strength to keep doing it?ā€
This is where spiritual strength and maintenance really show up.
Not when everything is calm… but when you have to keep choosing faith after you’ve already been tested.
Spiritual strength isn’t about never getting hit…
it’s about how quickly you come back.
How you get your mind back in alignment.
How you choose not to stay down.
How you keep standing, even when you’re tired.
And maintenance…
that’s what keeps you from running on empty.
That’s making time with God about you first.
Checking your thoughts before they take over.
Letting things go instead of carrying them all day.
Refilling before you’re completely drained.
So keep doing what you know works.
Even if it’s quiet, repetitive and you’re tired.
Because you’ve already proven something to God and yourself…
You don’t stay down.
Ask Yourself
1ļøāƒ£ When you think about your current walk with God… do you feel connected, consistent, or just going through the motions?
2ļøāƒ£ What has affected your spiritual motivation lately?
3ļøāƒ£ Be real..are you showing up because you want to… or because you know you’re supposed to?
4ļøāƒ£ What does your time with God look like right now?
5ļøāƒ£ What’s one thing you KNOW you need to get back to spiritually?
6ļøāƒ£ When I get hit, how long does it take me to get back in position?
7ļøāƒ£ Am I actually living what I’ve learned… or just hearing and not applying it?
Keys to Staying in Position When Life Keeps Hitting
1ļøāƒ£ Don’t reset every time life hits
Pick back up where you are..don’t start from zero.
2ļøāƒ£ Use what you know works
Prayer, stillness, and discipline.
3ļøāƒ£ Shorten your recovery time
This is not about being hit.. it’s about learning how to bounce back more quickly.
4ļøāƒ£ Stop expecting it to feel easy
Some seasons require endurance, not comfort.
5ļøāƒ£ Stay in position, even when it’s quiet
Consistency matters more than intensity.
6ļøāƒ£ Don’t let your mind run unchecked
Catch it early. Bring it back. Stay grounded.
7ļøāƒ£ Give yourself credit for still standing
You didn’t quit and that matters.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for keeping me, even in seasons that feel heavy.
You see the pressure, the repetition, the moments where it feels like I’m doing everything right and still getting tested.
Strengthen me in those moments.
Help me not to lose my position when life hits.
Remind me to use what I already know… and to stay grounded in You.
Give me the discipline to keep showing up, even when I’m tired.
And help me trust that this season is producing something in me that I’ll need later.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Decree & Declare
1ļøāƒ£ I decree and declare that I remain steady, even under pressure.
2ļøāƒ£ I decree and declare that I do not stay down. I bounce back quickly.
3ļøāƒ£ I decree and declare that I stay in prayer and in my word when life hits.
4ļøāƒ£ I decree and declare that I stay in position, regardless of how I feel.
5ļøāƒ£ I decree and declare that I am building strength through every challenge.
6ļøāƒ£ I decree and declare that I am not moved by pressure. I stay grounded.
7ļøāƒ£ I decree and declare that I will see the results of my consistency.
