Dr Fenner preached about Ruth’s journey of faith from her home country of Moab to her mother in-law’s place of birth. There Ruth worked in the field—picking leftovers as an immigrant Gentile. Her loving covenant with Naomi led her to the field of Boaz, the “kinsman redeemer “ of Naomi. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Dr Fenner reminded us that Jesus is OUR Redeemer. He paid our ransom price with His precious blood sacrifice, so that we could reclaim our lost identity as citizens of God’s Kingdom. We are able to move about the Kingdom in AUTHORITY AND POWER as if we have dominion. That’s because we do!
Our little bit of faith in GOD can be the start of bearing much fruit. We shouldn’t turn up our noses at seemingly insignificant events. Little things become much in the Master’s Hands.
