I read Acts 1st chapter, 1st and 2nd verse and then I skipped down a little to verse 5 that's talking about the holy spirit. In the 1st verse he speaks of a former treatise that he made (with) Theophilus or that Theophilus knew of and he says all that Jesus began to do and teach.
Then in the 2nd verse: it talks about Jesus teaching until he was taken up.. That is anextrodinary occurance. Jesus was with his disciples when he was taken up in front of their faces. Can you imagine that? Being there, seeing him being lifted off the ground and going up until he's out of sight! Well, from the facts of his being risen from the dead to seeing him taken up in front of their faces all of them were committed to teaching the gospel until their last days. Everyone that was there when he was taken up never changed their testimony because they saw it themselves. We also have to be like that. We will all be challenged for Jesus Christ. He told us that he will send the Holy Spirit. So we call on him to lead us and teach us as Jesus said that he would do. Praise his name forever. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
