Change in perspective!
I used to be scared of black cats🐈⬛ ! Trick-or-treating (in the only named subdivision in our small town) this black cat crossed my path and I could feel the energy. It was years later that I realized power can be misunderstood when it is un-familiar. I later learned the auspiciousness of a black cat and the true power they hold. I now can see this in women i work with. These beliefs we have been taught about powerful men and powerful women. Even what the word power brings up in us when we hear the word. I think it is misunderstood. We are so used to the familiar frame we see it through and have forgotten the power in softness, nurturing, receiving, creating, holding space for healing, knowing, empowering others to find their truth, authenticity. It feels scary until our beliefs change and we can see the real truth. Until the unconscious becomes conscious and there is a new “familiar”. What does the word “power” bring up for you?
