Hail Ball chasers!! are you tired of all the boring tips on how NOT to ball chase and how to deal with Ball Chasers? are you tired of the RL community ignoring or shunning ball chasers who happen to be a large part of the player pool? do you feel picked on? Well fear not! Now you have a dedicated resource that is catered just to your playstyle. below is a list of rules and regulations that ball chasers should follow in order to become a top ranked ball chaser. this is a mindset designed to bring out the best in ball chasing. Follow these simple rules to become the best ball chaser on your block. too long have ball chasers been ignored and pushed in the corner with no sense of direction or coaching. this ends now!!!
- (golden rule) ALWAYS go for the ball. no exceptions (except rule #2). never let up. never rotate back. keep your nose as close to the ball as possible.
2. only leave the ball to grab a large boost. be sure to ignore all the small boost pads on the way and grab that big boost! bonus points if you can pick up two big boosts back-to-back, robbing your teammates of a boost. then go right back to the ball.
3. your teammates are annoying obstacles. Just try to ignore them so you don't get tilted. yes they may try and get in your way, but just rear end them, side swipe them or boost past them and cut them off to touch the ball first. do what it takes at all costs
4. Abandon the net in favor of grabbing that corner boost -see rule number 2
5.dont worry about hitting the ball towards your net. just hit the darn ball. your teammates will block it if they are any good. if they miss be sure to spam team chat with "wow", "@!##$", "great save" or any combination.
6. don't waste your boost on kickoff, that's the kiss of death. instead run off to grab a big boost. don't worry, your teammate will take the kickoff if he is any good.
7. if your teammate annoys you with complaints, just turn off chat.
8. if you are down by one point or more with 3 minutes left, just click forfeit and move on to the next game.
9. there is a chance your tm8 will score more points than you did. if this happens, it's just bad luck and its ok to get tilted and mad at them. just try to bump them more often next time.
10.finally, at the end of a loss. be sure to log on here or any other social media outlet catered to RL and drop a post that says something to the effect of "my teammates are holding me back, they all suck, what do i do?"
I hope these guidelines help make your ball chasing experience more enjoyable. use these tools and tips to take your ball chasing to the next level. no more YouTube, no more coaching, no more drills, no more practice. if you are having problems and feel your ball chasing needs some work, send me a few replays and i will help find more opportunities to get the nose of your car to the ball before your teammate.
I may have forgotten some important rules, but i think i covered the basics. master these mechanics first-don't try the fancy stuff yet, and our next lesson will be more advanced with things such as "how to go for aerials when your tm8 is already in the air", and "ignoring shadow defense of favor of risky challenges you cant win"
