For many children with ADHD, summer can be both wonderful and challenging.
Without routines and structure, some children may experience:
- boredom very quickly,
- emotional dysregulation,
- difficulty transitioning between activities,
- increased screen dependence,
- or struggles with motivation.
But here’s the good news:
💙 Summer is also an AMAZING time to build confidence through hands-on, interest-based learning.

The goal is not perfection or rigid schedules.

Children with ADHD often thrive when learning feels meaningful, active, and connected to their interests.
