Don't be consumed by strumming patterns!
People love to obsess over strumming patterns on the ukulele and I get it. I've covered the basic patterns, here in the club, and I'm happy to work through any that you want to learn!
What I don't love is when people are so focused on nailing the right pattern that it keeps them from learning and playing their favorite song.
In an effort to inspire you to 'just play the song already' here is a clip of me playing one of my favorites ('After the Goldrush' by Neil Young) using only simple down strokes.
