After years in a Waldorf-inspired school, my children briefly entered public school during a transition to a new site. After just one week, we realized it wasn't the right path for our family or the kind of learning environment I wanted for my children.
Now, we are returning to a Waldorf-inspired way of learning at home- rooted in rhythm, creativity, storytelling, hands-on learning, and a deep connection to nature.
Wild & Rooted Homeschool documents our journey homeschooling First and Fourth Grade as we rebuild our daily rhythm, strengthen math and literacy skills, explore nature, and create meaningful learning experiences that nurture the whole child.
This space is a place to share the beauty, the challenges, and the growth that come with choosing a different path- one that honors childhood, creativity, and connection.
