Hey, started producing music recently, as opposed to gigging all the time as a musician and freelance recording/mixing. It's a far different world, this producing thing. I'm so used to tracking all the instruments, mic'ing everything up, etc...to go to using midi, one shot samples and using a keyboard for all instruments except guitars and basses (even then, often using a type of sub bass or 808 to support the bass). I'm not sure what categories to put the tracks I'm creating in, or what genres...so I'd really appreciate if yall could take a listen and give me your opines on em...also any feedback on the mixes as well, being that we're all engineers here. :) thanx for taking the time, if you do. :)
