Forgiveness isn’t always possible, and that’s okay. Some wounds run too deep, and expecting someone to just “let it go” isn’t fair.
Instead, try acceptance. It doesn’t mean what happened was okayit just means you stop fighting the past and focus on your peace.
Acceptance lets you set boundaries without guilt. You don’t have to welcome people back into your life, but you also don’t have to carry anger forever. You can let go and still protect yourself.
At the end of the day, your peace matters most. And that’s real self-love. 💛
