Fire & Patience
Anyone can ignite quickly.
Chemistry is common.
Attraction is easy.
Desire is abundant.
But patience —
that is rare.
Can you sit with tension
without rushing to label it?
Can you build something
that grows instead of explodes?
Fire without patience
burns bright
and dies fast.
But fire with discipline
becomes warmth.
Becomes home.
Becomes legacy.
I don’t want intensity
that evaporates.
I want depth
that strengthens.
If we are going to burn,
let it be intentional.
Let it be controlled heat —
not reckless flame.
Because what lasts
is not built on sparks alone.
It is built on restraint.
