A lot of us Muslims say that we want to make hijrah to Saudi, UAE... Is it because other people are saying it, or because we want to do it for the sake of Allah?
But the most important thing is our intention. Without the correct intention, this move of making hijrah may not benefit us at all.
The act of making hijrah is an act of worship. For an act of worship to be correct, it must fulfill two conditions, as the scholars mention, and one of them is sincerity.
Do you not fear your Deen being lost, and doubts being thrown into your heart?
Do you not want to be able to pray all your prayers in the masaajid with no stress?
Do you not fear that your children will fall into the ways of the kuffar?
Do you not want a good upbringing for your children?
Do you not want to be in an environment that is based upon Islam and the opposite of the West?
Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab [Bukhari, 1]:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."
May Allah grant us all the ability and make it easy for us to make Hijrah.
