PLUMBING MODELS THE FLOW OF CURRENCY AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
⁉️Have you ever considered the observable lessons God embedded in the network of your indoor plumbing? Christ spoke of living water, and by calling money “currency” or “liquidity,” we’ve unlocked the analogical meaning of our plumbing systems. Like a nation’s economy, every house manages inflow, distribution, storage, and waste.
👤The plumbing grid of a building illustrates the economic flow of a nation as well as the flow of the Holy Spirit to the body of Christ as the church. This flow provides the hydration, lubrication, and sanitation needs of any housing system. Needs of sustenance concentrate flow and all maps of pipes model the flow of the Word, and the supply of “living water” through Christ.
All pipes model economic and spiritual channels of currencies and doctrines. All fixtures model ministries, callings, or vessels moving resources toward use. Water models the liquid flow of both financial currency, and the Holy Spirit. The user is the soul and the source is eternity with God.

🚿Pipe / Water Main
⚙️Function: Pressurized supply line from street. Shutoff valve controls all household liquidity.
🇺🇸Nation: Central bank + federal reserve system. Treasury bond market. Controls base money supply entering the nation-body.
✝️Church: Word of God + Spirit inflow into the body. John 7:38 KJV “out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” Matthew 4:4 KJV “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word.”
❌Problems: Main break = hyperinflation flooding markets. No water = credit freeze, economic drought. Failed shutoff = Fiscal flood during crisis. Stopping up ears = economic hearing famine. Amos 8:11 KJV “not a famine of bread… but of hearing the words of the Lord.” Closed valve = hoarding. Proverbs 21:1 KJV “The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water.”
✅Fixes: Obedience + Thirst for Word opens main. Psalm 42:1 KJV “As the hart panteth after the water brooks.” Spirit restores household liquidity through repentance.
🔥Fixture / Hot Water Heater
⚙️Function: Tank stores energy, heats water, sends to fixtures on demand. Pilot light must stay lit.
🇺🇸Nation: Energy sector + capital reserves. Strategic petroleum reserve, savings, nuclear. Converts raw input to usable economic work.
✝️Church: Prayer + Fasting storing spiritual capital. Acts 1:8 KJV “ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.”
❌Problems: Heater failure = cold productivity, no economic heat. Overheat = energy crisis explosion. Sediment = debt drag lowering efficiency. Lukewarmness = no economic zeal. Revelation 3:16 KJV “because thou art lukewarm… I will spue thee out.” Quenching Spirit = pilot out.
✅Fixes: Zeal + Fire rekindles reserves. Romans 12:11 KJV “fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.” Leviticus 6:13 KJV “The fire shall ever be burning.”
🔧Pipe / Supply Lines
⚙️Function: Copper/PVC carries water to sinks, tubs, toilets. Must stay clear of corrosion.
🇺🇸Nation: Supply chains, banking rails, rail, trucking, internet. Commerce arteries moving goods and currency. If clogged = shortages.
✝️Church: Relationships, giving, communication, doctrine as channels. Ephesians 4:16 KJV “whole body fitly joined together… maketh increase.”
❌Problems: Corrosion = inflation eating purchasing power. Clog = port backlog, sanctions, SWIFT ban. Burst = market crash, bank run on liquidity. Gossip clogs cash flow. Unforgiveness corrodes credit. False doctrine restricts economic truth. 2 Timothy 2:17 KJV “their word will eat as doth a canker.” Ezekiel 7:19 KJV “their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them.”
✅Fixes: Love + Truth + Forgiveness as spiritual Drano. Colossians 3:14 KJV “put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.”
🚰Fixture / Faucets
⚙️Function: Valves releasing water when needed. User controls hot/cold mix like fiscal mix.
🇺🇸Nation: Fiscal policy + spending valves. Congress, budget, stimulus, subsidies. Interest rates = hot/cold economic mix.
✝️Church: Generosity, ministry release, preaching dispensing Word. 2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV “God loveth a cheerful giver.” Malachi 3:10 KJV “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse.”
❌Problems: Left open = debt flood, currency devaluation. Seized shut = austerity depression. Dripping = constant inflation tax. Stinginess hoards household capital. Reckless spending wastes it. Muzzling ox = no wages. 1 Timothy 5:18 KJV “The labourer is worthy of his reward.” Haggai 1:6 KJV “earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.”

⚙️Function: Carry waste water out to sewer. P-trap blocks gas. Vent lets air in so economy flows.
🇺🇸Nation: Taxation, bankruptcy law, exports, waste management. Removes bad debt, crime, failed companies from economic system.
✝️Church: Confession, repentance, church discipline removing waste, downward decent/judgment. 1 John 1:9 KJV “If we confess our sins, he is faithful… to cleanse us.” 1 Corinthians 5:13 KJV “put away from among yourselves.”
❌Problems: Clogged drain = toxic backup: crime, inflation, civil unrest in streets. Dry trap = moral rot enters house. No vent = glug glug, slow GDP. Covering sin = fiscal fraud. No accountability = embezzlement. Tolerating evil = toxic debt. Joshua 7:11 KJV “Israel hath sinned… taken of the accursed thing.”
✅Fixes: Repentance + Judgment + Purity purges books. Psalm 51:7 KJV “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean.” Spirit is the vent for economic confession.
🚽Fixture / Toilet
⚙️Function: Removes human waste fast. Needs strong flush, full tank for function.
🇺🇸Nation: Justice system + jubilee. Removes fraud, crime, monopolies, corrupt officials from economy. Flush = arrests, bankruptcies, trust busting.
✝️Church: Purging corruption, downward descent/judgment, Internal cleansing. 1 Corinthians 5:5 KJV “deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh.” Titus 3:10 KJV “A man that is an heretick… reject.”
❌Problems: Toilet clog = filth backs up = corruption normalized in markets. Leaking tank = justice delayed, weak deterrence. Running = constant resource loss. Affirming wrong = bad debt affirmed. Fear of man = no audits. No consequences = moral hazard. Isaiah 5:20 KJV “Woe unto them that call evil good.”
✅Fixes: Holiness + Courage + Righteousness restores balance sheets. John 16:8 KJV “he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” Spirit provides economic flush.

⚙️Function: Holds waste, bacteria breaks it down, leach field filters. Out of sight but critical to health.
🇺🇸Nation: Prisons, social safety net, entitlements, foreign aid. Handles waste of society’s economy. If undersized = overflow into groundwater = systemic corruption.
✝️Church: Mercy ministry, restoration process, caring for fallen economic victims. Galatians 6:1 KJV “restore such an one in the spirit of meekness.” James 1:27 KJV “To visit the fatherless and widows.”
❌Problems: Leak = groundwater poisoned = institutions lose trust, market contagion. Backup = national disgrace, epidemic costs. Despising poor = oppressing labor. No restoration = permanent underclass. Proverbs 14:31 KJV “He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker.”
✅Fixes: Mercy + Restoration + Compassion recycles waste to soil. Micah 6:8 KJV “what doth the Lord require… but to do justly, and to love mercy.” Spirit breaks down debt into growth.
📉Fixture / Water Pressure Regulator
⚙️Function: Keeps PSI safe. Too high = burst pipes. Too low = trickle. Economic governor.
🇺🇸Nation: Federal Reserve interest rates, currency pegs, tariffs. Regulates speed of money through economy.
✝️Church: Self-control in Spirit governing flow. Galatians 5:23 KJV “temperance.” 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but… of a sound mind.”
❌Problems: High pressure = asset bubbles, housing crisis. Low pressure = deflation, depression. Malfunction = stagflation. Extremism = legalism or licentiousness in budgets. Burnout or apathy = no flow. Ecclesiastes 7:16 KJV “Be not righteous over much.”
✅Fixes: Balance + Wisdom + Peace regulates household economy. Philippians 4:5 KJV “Let your moderation be known unto all men.” Spirit sets PSI so pipes don’t burst.
⛑️System Maintenance = Body of Christ
🚨If leaks of doctrine occur within our heavenly structure, and the social exchange pressure is effected, the church is how the Holy Spirit seals those leaks.
🪳This prevents spirtual water damage, as well as the inevitable creeping spirtual invaders from below that seek parasitic refuge in the escaped moisture compartments of the heart.
✝️In the Church, people, practices, & the Holy Spirit = plumbers, protocol, & water flow. Correcting errors (plumbers), identifying root-causes (protocol), and suspending access by an inter-phase of engagement (water flow).

🚨How It Fixes The Economic Issues Above
Water Main / Word Cut Off - Plumber + Shutoff: Spirit turns liquidity back on through revival preaching. Nehemiah 8:8 KJV “read in the book in the law of God distinctly.”
Hot Water Heater / Prayerlessness - Pilot Light: Prophets relight economic zeal. Luke 11:1 KJV “Lord, teach us to pray.”
Pipes / Corroded Relationships - Teflon Tape: Covenant love seals commerce. Colossians 3:14 KJV “put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.”

🪨Other Occurrences:
⛏️It is through the the grueling process of excavation that dirt and rocks are removed so that the pipes can be exposed for maintanance. Similarly a nation’s markets must have their protective and supportive ground mediums removed temporarily, to allow access for examination and repair. Likewise, the fleshly vessel holding the heavenly flow of God’s Holy Spirit in us needs examined for repair and a return to proper funtionality. The Earth must be removed so the light can penetrate the darkness around us and so that the piercing instrument of our skilled labor can break obstacles that might inhibit the free-flow of His living water.
🏡Tree roots act as a subterranean growth that can damage pipes when the hair-like fibers of a root shoot act as a collective filter for sewage and water waste debris. Once a vulnerability in the pipe has been found by a growing root, the water provides the sustenance to sustain damaging growth that will eventually destroy the pipes structural integrity, in which case replacement will be needed to correct the water flow, and clean-up might be needed from the water damage incurred to the structure.
✝️It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that every leak in God’s household economy of works, harvest, and commission can be sealed at the source.

Understanding your pipe, your fixtures, and your flow, is how you can maximize your contribution to the collective economy as well as our heavenly commission of evangelism through Christ’s spirit of truth.
