Make people think about why they want something, not just what they want. This makes them more involved in the call.
When people book a call with me, I ask a few questions to help me understand them. This helps me prepare for the call.
Allows me to help them even if they don't end up becoming a client.
My motto is:
Turn your network into raving fans, referring ambassadors and amazing clients.
Being well prepared for a call means that I always achieve the raving fan and referring ambassador conversion.
I've had calls where my service was not what someone needs. By being honest about that they end up raving about me. Mentioning me. And directly or indirectly getting me clients.
One question I ask is "why me". This is market research. It tells me what about my online presence works.
Today I noticed a call got booked. I'm not sure if what I offer is what they need right now. We'll find out on the call.
Their answer to the "why me" question made my day. Put a smile on my dial.
๐ง What's the most helpful question you ask people when they book a call?
PS... yes, I also help my clients set up their call bookings. What questions to ask. How to prepare for and conduct the call and how to follow up.
