What moving to 4 countries has taught me about community
Yes, 4 countries in 15 years and everytime you need to make new friends. Start over. Build a network. So you have to find your people.
Originally it was Facebook groups. I would scour the internet to find the mommy and me classes and later on the business for moms groups.
Now, as we plan to leave for Dubai - I'm not looking at Facebook anymore. I'm looking at Skool. I can use the map function to find like minded people, groups that support us and hopefully get to meet some members IRL.
I also have a place to return to - my communities online - in my back pocket - no starting over.
So, if you could meet anyone from Skool IRL, who would it be? (*Let's assume that transporter from Star Trek is real)
