Indicators of IP respect for LLM training...?
I'm heartened by the arrival of this new email from Google. If original IP is gonna be stolen (which it has) for the benefit of the planet-me top 1% wealthy there is little point sharing it as theft isn't sharing by definition.
To paraphrase what Eric Schmidt has said a number of times regarding how big companies deal with this IP theft issue.... 'Do it and hire a big team of lawyers and sort the mess out afterwards'. That sort of planet-me selfishness is why AGI is going to wreak havoc.
