Birth and postpartum doula in Italy (for international clients)
Hi everyone, and sorry for this long overdue introduction 🙃
My name is Chiara (pronounced Kee-ara), I am Italian and live and work in and around Milan, in northern Italy. I mainly support international clients who give birth in Italy, as I gave birth abroad myself and know how isolating that can feel (my son was born in the water in Hangzhou, China, in 2011..the first waterbirth in town-flex flex 💪). Since I certified as a doula in 2021, my goal has been to prove that doula work can be meaningful for our clients as well as a profitable business for us. It's been a long journey full of joy, tears, anxiety and excitement, and I really do feel like I need some support, guidance and direction from someone who has done it before me, and that's when Lisa came into the picture🥰 I've also just launched a doula business coaching program for Italian doulas: we just finished our first edition and are looking forward to the next, which will start in the fall. I am looking forward to connecting with as many of you as possible and to learn as much as I can in the coming 3 months
