Back when I was growing my network marketing business (which I still do alongside doula work), Facebook mom groups were AMAZING for local networking, relationship-building, engagement, and organically connecting people with your services. This is how I found people to cold outreach too as long as group rules didn’t ban it.
You could genuinely add value, become a familiar voice in the community, and naturally attract clients over time.👯♀️
But lately, I’ve been finding many FB groups feel lower quality, full of spam, oversaturated, or just harder to meaningfully connect in than they used to.
Since we’ve all already shifted here onto Skool for communities like Lisa’s😀it has me wondering:
Are there intentional mom communities on Skool that could become really valuable spaces for doulas to connect, contribute, and build authentic visibility online? I’m thinking, local mom groups and beyond. Eg. Hiking moms of Tucson, Knitting moms in the city etc…groups you can connect with based on your interests.
(Not as a replacement for in-person networking of course — I mean specifically for our online community-building and relationship-based marketing.)
I actually haven’t explored many mom groups on Skool yet, but I’m excited to start looking into it.
Has anyone here joined any local or motherhood-centered Skool communities yet? Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences 👀
