The moment right before you quit
You ever notice there’s a moment right before you give up?
Not the big dramatic quitting…
just that quiet decision in your head:
“Yeah… I already tried that.”
That’s where Simon was.
“We have toiled all night and caught nothing…”
And honestly?
He wasn’t wrong.
He had experience.
He had evidence.
He had results to back it up.
But then there’s this one word:
“Nevertheless…”
That moment where you have to decide—
Am I going with what I know…
or who I trust?
Because most of the time, nothing around you has changed yet.
Same situation.
Same frustration.
Same unanswered thing.
The only difference is the choice sitting in front of you:

or trust Him enough to try again
I’m realizing that’s where faith actually shows up.
Not when it’s easy.
Not when it makes sense.
But right there…
in that split second before you write it off.
