Stop treating YouTube like the paycheck
If YouTube disappeared tomorrow, would your business still exist?
Most people are building for views first and money later.
That is backwards.
YouTube is the traffic source.
The product is the business.
If I were fixing this today, I would keep it simple:
1. Pick one problem people already ask you about.
2. Make a small product that solves that problem fast.
3. Publish videos that answer pieces of the problem.
4. Send viewers to the product, not to another pile of free content.
5. Use the questions from comments and sales to improve the product.
You do not need a bigger channel first.
You need a paid next step that makes the channel matter.
