Israel is 78...
78 years ago TODAY.....was truly one of the GREATEST END TIME EVENTS to ever have happened!!
For over 2000 years, the Jewish people were scattered all over the world, without being able to be in their Homeland.
Losing their nation, and Jerusalem.
Scripture is clear about this.
BUT GOD made this promise to His people:
"For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land."
(Ezekiel 36:4)
Then, after the horrors of the Holocaust and World War 2, God kept that promise, as foretold by the Prophet Isaiah:
"Who has ever seen anything as strange as this?
Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day?
Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment?"
(Isaiah 66:8)
Then, on May 14, 1948 Ben Gurion, standing in Tel Aviv on the day in which the British Mandate over a Palestine expired, the Jewish People's Council gathered at the Tel Aviv Museum, and approved the following proclamation, declaring the establishment of the State of Israel as he spoke these words:
"ACCORDINGLY WE, MEMBERS OF THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL, REPRESENTATIVES OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY OF ERETZ-ISRAEL AND OF THE ZIONIST MOVEMENT, ARE HERE ASSEMBLED ON THE DAY OF THE TERMINATION OF THE BRITISH MANDATE OVER ERETZ-ISRAEL AND, BY VIRTUE OF OUR NATURAL AND HISTORIC RIGHT AND ON THE STRENGTH OF THE RESOLUTION OF THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY, HEREBY DECLARE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A JEWISH STATE IN ERETZ-ISRAEL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE STATE OF ISRAEL!"
And truly a "Nation was born in a single day", completely fulfilling the Prophet Isaiahs prophecy.
And THAT day my friends, marked one of the greatest prophetic fulfillments in all of scripture and started the clock ticking for the GREATEST COUNTDOWN IN HUMAN HISTORY!!!
And that will lead to this:
"Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
(Matthew 24:30)
