You don’t need more discipline… you need to release control.
Somewhere along the way, you started believing that everything depends on you.
Your leadership.
Your family.
Your results.
Your ability to “hold it all together.”
And now? You’re exhausted.
Not because you’re incapable…
But because you’ve been carrying what was never yours to hold.
Today isn’t about doing more.
It’s about returning and realigning.
Returning to God… not as a last resort, but as your first place.
Realigning your pace… so you’re no longer moving faster than His grace.
Because burnout isn’t just about being busy —
It’s what happens when you stay in control longer than you were meant to.
Releasing control looks like:
• Pausing before reacting
• Inviting God into your decisions (big and small)
• Letting go of the pressure to “figure it all out”
• Trusting that obedience matters more than outcomes
You don’t have to strive your way into peace.
Peace is found when you surrender.
I remember being in a season where everything looked “together” on the outside…
But internally, I was stretched thin: mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
I loved God, but I wasn’t walking with Him in my daily pace.
And that’s the shift.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
Partnership!
So today, ask yourself:
👉🏾 What am I still trying to control that I need to release to God?
Start there.
That’s your realignment.
If this spoke to you, this is the work we do every day inside this space — and deeper on 'She Leads Boldly' podcast. 🤎
