Apple Rust
One of our schools recently experienced Apple Rust on one of their Crabapple trees. It's typically caused by nearby Cedar trees, which are the initial host plant for Apple Rust. You can try this DIY soution: Crushed aspirin mixed with water creating salicylic acid. You can also add a couple of drops of Dawn liquid because it's a surfactant and will help it stick to the leaves.
