Hi
What are you going to do for yourself today?
💙 DAY 19 OF 31 | CARING FOR THE CAREGIVER 💙
Who’s caring for YOU while you’re caring for everyone else?
Today marks Day 19 of my 31-day clean eating journey, and I’m officially 8 pounds down! 🎉💪🏽
But today isn’t just about weight loss. It’s about balance, discipline, and learning to prioritize my own well-being.
Today, I have a volunteer commitment, so there’s no gym. And that’s perfectly okay! I’m still nourishing my body, staying hydrated, and showing up for something that matters to me. 💚
To every caregiver reading this:
You spend so much time making sure everyone else eats, takes their medications, gets to appointments, and feels loved.
But when was the last time you checked on YOU?
You cannot keep pouring from an empty cup.
Self-care doesn’t always mean going to the gym or taking a vacation. Sometimes it’s eating a nutritious meal, drinking enough water, resting, setting boundaries, or simply giving yourself permission to say, “I need a moment.”
Taking care of yourself is not selfish. It’s necessary.
I’m learning that caring for myself allows me to continue caring for others with strength, compassion, and purpose.
🌱 19 days of intentional choices.
💧 Staying hydrated.
❤️ Giving back through volunteering.
💪🏽 8 pounds down.
🙏🏽 Grateful for another day to make a difference.
Caregivers, here’s my question for you:
What’s ONE thing you’re going to do for YOURSELF today?
👇🏽 Tell me in the comments. I want to encourage you!
