Intro/ story
Hey guys! Thanks for the add to the group! Adding my instagram, I’d love to support each other there as well!
A little about myself. I’m 31 & Grew up in a small, rural town in middle Tennessee. I grew up in a southern Baptist church, with my grandparents, honestly filled with some of the most judgmental people I’ve ever met.
Oddly enough, I reconnected with my faith from a Kevin Gates concert TikTok. He played “In God I Trust” and spoke about how that song brought him through difficult times. I was doing cardio, I had 7 minutes left, the TikTok played for the remainder.
(Unknowingly) I was called by God to Relocate to Houston. I didn’t realize at the time that it was a call from God, and I ignored the call on 3 different occasions. Until recently, God simply didn’t give me a choice, he’s made it CRYSTAL CLEAR, this is what he wants me to do & im fully embracing the journey.
Reconnecting with my faith has been life changing. It’s amazing how God has been working in my life, a lot of blessings & equally as many eye opening things.
Something told me that I need to share my experiences via social media. I’ve been using a mix of my love for bodybuilding and talking head videos to do just that. My only goal has just been to provide value and clarity to others that might be going through a similar journey. Hence why I’m here!
I’m truly grateful to have found a group of likeminded people to talk with and share ideas, ask questions etc. I’m sure you all can relate to this but learning how to grow on social media is difficult enough, let alone when your inner circle doesn’t understand the message in general.
