If you’re here, it’s because you care about your players — and you want to become a better coach without the stress, confusion, or overthinking that usually comes with the role.

Most new coaches are thrown into coaching with no training, no support, and no one to guide them.

It’s overwhelming.

It’s stressful.

And it can feel like you’re the only one struggling...... You’re not.

My name is Carl. I’m a UEFA‑licensed coach with 20 years of experience across grassroots, emerging talent programs, and academy football. I created Sensible Soccer because I’ve met too many good people who made the step into coaching and feel lost, anxious, or unsure of themselves.

In most clubs, adequate processes are in place to ensure the well-being of players is met. However, in my experience - the processes and support structures are lacking when it comes to the well-being of coaches, parents and volunteers.

This community exists to change that.
