WWW - What Went Well - July 1st 2026
Today is more of a reminder of what I am doing here. I think the 1st of each month is a good time to do that as it will change as things progress.
My focus: To bring in traffic/qualified traffic to an independent digital business from scratch.
It's about one business. Inspirational Guidance
One audience. One message. One repeatable acquisition system.
I am not including people already on my email list. Only new people.
THE OUTCOME:
I will show you how to drive traffic to YOUR digital business (Djangify owners) and get qualified buyers using email storytelling.
I am teaching independent store owners that they don't have to rely on marketplaces and that they should "build on their own land"
Is there work in bringing people to you - YES THERE IS - and if you are not willing to go that extra mile the marketplaces are better for you.
THE INDEPENDENT DIGITAL BUSINESS PROJECT
Starting with:
no audience
no paid ads
no marketplace
no shortcuts
Building:
traffic
email subscribers
qualified buyers
digital product sales
using nothing more than storytelling, SEO, Socials, email and my own website.
The ONLY thing I can't tell you is HOW LONG it will take but one big thing that being on all these Arlan Hamilton calls is teaching me is it takes as long as it takes.
My desire is sooner rather than later!
I would like to end up with a 90 day process with step by step instructions from signing up to Djangify, putting your site together, and getting in traffic.
If you don't have a Djangify site it will still work in help people drive traffic to their website, eCommerce store or Skool group.
BUILDING A PROCESS
"How do I build a repeatable system that consistently attracts the right people?"
Once the experiment is complete I open the group and decide if I open Djangify because the option is there for me to just continually set up and run Djangify sites and earn an income from each one.
METRICS MORE THAN MONEY
I want to focus on metrics at the start that are useful to understand and learn from:
How new subscribers across platforms
How many people visited?
Which article attracted them?
Which email was sent?
Which story got replies?
Which page converted best?
What did you change this week?
What lesson would you repeat?
THE PROMPTS AND AI TOOLS
I have it all planned out along with a few very important prompts that are keeping me focused and telling me what to do because I NEED TELLING.
I am learning how to put artifacts together and am looking at what else I can add to Djangify to help with the process.
